The new generation Magentis has been designed to appeal to both the private and company motorist with dynamic styling, impressive performance and top safety features.
One trim level, one engine and two transmissions (automatic and manual) has simplified the range with the new diesel engine providing more power and torque, less CO2, better fuel efficiency. The four-door saloon’s space, refinement, comfort and luxury have all been enhanced in the 2009 model with drivers who spend a long time on the road specifically catered for with a responsive and involving car combined with peace, quiet and comfort.
Standard features, include twin front, side and curtain airbags, active headrests on both front seats, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Electronic stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control (TC). The all-independent suspension has been revised delivering a more dynamic experience and with improved comfort, and allied to the latest electronic driver aids.
The well appointed TR trim level is equipped to a far higher level than many competitors and includes cruise control with steering wheel mounted controls, full climate control with a cabin air filter, front and rear electric windows with auto-down function for the driver, electrically-adjustable heated door mirrors, variable intermittent wipers and automatic headlamps.
