Epsom Eagles’ Under 16s squad are flying high as they take on teams from around Surrey Youth League following their backing by Lovkeyn Kia.
The team kicked off the 08/09 season in style when they adorned their kits for the first time – emblazoned across the front with the Lovekyn Kia name.
At the end of October, the Eagles were second in the table and just a point behind the current leading team in the U16 Premier North division. It follows their success last year in the Under 15s when they won the league.
The team is managed by Tim Alsop with the help of several of the boys’ dads including Lovekyn customer Brian Samain who approached the dealership with the sponsorship request.
Commented dealer principal Andrew Shelly: “We were actively looking for a team to support in our area so it was perfect timing when Brian suggested the Eagles. It was fantastic to back the boys just as they sealed their victory last season and we are already enjoying supporting them this season and hope they do just as well in their new division”
