Comic Relief Fun Day, March 2011

Over 100 guests descended on Lovekyn Kia on Saturday 12th March 2011 to launch Red Nose Day at Lovekyn's Soul Event.  They tucked into Comic Relief themed food prepared by Good Morning’s TV guest chef Momma Cherri, including red nose eggs, red nose cherry cakes, funny pinwheels, catfish and Southern style chicken.  There was also a professional face painter from Kia Motors, charity car wash, kid’s balloons and raffles.

Andrew Shelly (Lovekyn) was delighted with the turn out and said: “Thanks to everyone who came to support Lovekyn’s first Red Nose Event.  It was a great event, great food, great face painting and great feedback.  It was an absolute blast.”

Momma Cherri added: “I didn’t stop cooking all day, it was so busy.  Everyone had big smiles on their faces and I am so pleased to have been part of such a successful day!”

Supporting local Rugby

Lovekyn Kia has joined with Sutton & Epsom RFC to help support and promote the club’s activities in the community and to develop rugby in the local area.

Sutton & Epsom RFC is one of the oldest established rugby clubs in the country and has been quietly developing local playing talent for over 100 years. Dave Steel, the club’s Chairman, says “We are thrilled that Lovekyn Kia has agreed to join us as our main club sponsor, to have the support of a thriving local business is really important to Sutton & Epsom RFC as our roots and future lie within the local community.”
