Worn tyres can cost lives. Not only that, for every tyre offence there is a maximum fine of £2,500 with discretionary disqualification and a compulsory driving licence endorsement of three penalty points.

If you have four faulty tyres you face a fine of up to £10,000 and 12 points on your licence.
